About the KONG Lift Ascender

The KONG Lift Ascender is a rope clamp for rope access professionals. Available in left and right versions, this ascender has all the components that are part of the latest generation of KONG blockers.

Thanks to the holes on the cam and the side plate, the Lift Ascender has an excellent ability to block out, particularly on muddy and icy ropes. KONG's technology has utilized a new material and special chemical that creates a thermal reaction to the cam, giving it a much higher surface hardness. This results in high durability, great wear resistance, and reduces the chance for the steel to break from freezing temperatures.

The lever is ergonomic and easy to handle. It is also protected from shocks and the risk of accidental opening. It is fitted with an anti-overturning system.

How to properly attach this device to the rope:

1. Turn and lock the cam into the open position, taking the safety to the outside.
2. Insert the rope, checking that it lies in the desired direction.
3. Release the cam, pressing it toward the rope.
4. Ensure the safety is positioned on the inside of the device, avoiding the full opening of the cam.
5. Make sure this device slides in the right direction (upwards) and locks in the other direction (downwards) before using it.
