Put safety first with the Petzl ASAP’SORBER lanyard. This energy-absorbing high-rise accessory is made to work in tandem with a Petzl ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester. It is constructed with nylon and polyester.
This special lanyard protects the user's rope when they work at a distance from it during certain phases of the job. Keeping the rope at a distance not only frees up the work area but also protects it from sharp tools and harmful points of contact that can puncture the webbing and cause damage, making the lanyard unusable.
In case of a fall, this lanyard absorbs energy to prevent injury and save the user's body from shock. It is designed for users who weigh between 110-280 pounds.
It is equipped with tear-webbing inside a durable pouch that opens on each end. This pouch protects the absorber from abrasion while allowing for easy access so you can inspect it regularly. If the energy absorber's webbing is torn, the impact force will become limited, and it should be replaced.
The Petzl ASAP'SORBER meets or exceeds the CE EN 355, ANSI Z359.13 6 feet, UKCA, and EAC certifications for safety.
