About the Petzl ATTACHE Locking Carabiner

The compact, pear-shaped Petzl ATTACHE Locking Carabiner features a screw-locking system designed for belaying and high-rise rope access professions. The pear shape makes it easy to tie or untie a clove hitch.

This carabiner has an H cross-section for an improved strength-to-weight ratio. Optimized for lightness and durability, it also has a wider construction for improved rope glide ability and reduced wear on the carabiner throughout use. The screw-locking sleeve makes it easy to handle while on the job. Plus, the nose and keylock system helps to prevent snagging while maneuvering.

The Petzl ATTACHE Locking Carabiner meets or exceeds CE EN 12275 type H, UIAA, and UKCA standards. It has a major axis strength of 22-kilo Newtons, a minor axis strength of 7-kilo Newtons, and an open gate strength of 6-kilo Newtons.
